CEDAR FORT, UT - Douglas Peterson, loving father, grandfather and friend, has joined his forever companion Verda on April 29, 2012 at the age of 91.

He was born March 29 1921 to Charles Lewis and Elfrieda Peterson.

He married Verda Anderson on May 28, 1941, later solemnized in the San Diego LDS Temple.

Survived by two sons and one daughter, Thomas (Carol) Peterson, Cedar Valley; Laverl Kurt (DeeAnn) Peterson, Hurricane; LaNett (Dave) Franchow, South Jordan; sister, Helen Aberle; sister-in-law Lora Peterson, 14 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren and 1 great great-grandchild. Preceded in death by grandson Matthew Peterson, brothers Glen J Peterson and Wayne Peterson.

He will be truly missed, but will forever be in our hearts.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, May 3, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. in the Cedar Fort LDS Chapel, 185 East Center Street, Cedar Fort, Utah. A viewing will be held Wednesday evening from 6-8:00 p.m. at Wing Mortuary, 118 East Main, Lehi, and one hour prior to services at the church on Thursday afternoon at the church.
