Juanita Bushman Orem, Utah April 11, 2012 10:33 AM		Dear family and friends of Carl, Although I did not know Carl well, I loved saying hi to him in the halls of UVU for the past 18 years! He was ALWAYS happy, friendly and fun! I know you will miss him. Our hearts break with the loss of our loved ones and take years to try and repair. We never get over it...we just get on with it. I knew him to nod to and we occasionally shared a thought of one kind or another. I found him to be unfailingly positive and kind. He will be missed. I send my sincere condolences. Julie Pierce Orem, Utah April 10, 2012 6:14 PM		I barely knew Carl, but that didn't matter to him. When I would pass him in the hall at UVU, but he would always greet me with a cheery "hello." He made me feel like I was his friend. I am so sorry for your loss. He will be missed at UVU.

Although he was deaf, he could communicate in a way that would not only convey his message, but also leave you smiling. His personality showed in everything he did. He was hard-working, dependable and a good friend to those that knew him. He was always willing to help a friend if he could. Carl you will be missed.
