Allen Merrill Child, age 63, passed away at Utah Valley Hospital in Provo, Utah on July 2, 2021.

He was born on April 27, 1958 in Bluewater, New Mexico to Warren Tietjen Child and Ruth Quijada De La Toba. He loved family history work, studying the scriptures, nature, gardening, and serving others. He served a mission in Venezula and was a caregiver for many years. He lovingly cared for his wife, Mary, for many years and loved her dearly.

He is preceded in death by his parents and also his sister, Linda Laree Child. He is survived by his wife, Rosemary Jacobs Child. He is also survived by his siblings, Janet Child, Doris Emma Calhoon, Marion Child, Mildred McDermott, Mark Child, and Brian Child. He is survived by three daughters, Michelle Laree Moore, Crystal Star Brown, and Samantha Fe Wilson (children of Marie Kathleen King).

There will be a short viewing immediately followed by an informal service on Wednesday, July 7, 2021 at 2:00pm at Wing Mortuary at 118 East Main Lehi, Utah 84043.
