Arthur William (Bill) Trapp, 84, passed away on February 15, 2023 due to long-term health complications. Bill was born August 17, 1938 to Arthur James and Edith Oberg Trapp in Mayfield, Utah. He was the oldest of 5 boys. He married Alma Goodwin March 25, 1960 in Lehi, Utah. Later sealed in the Salt Lake Temple. Bill was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He served as YM President in Riverton and Sunday School Counselor in Lehi.

Bill had many passions in his life, including his family and his 2006 bright red Dodge truck. He loved it when people would compliment him on his truck. Bill worked in the explosive business, he worked for Ireco Chemicals, Western States Energy and he retired from BYU. Because of his work and hobbies he traveled all of the United States, Mexico, Canada and the Yukon Territory.

He is survived by his wife Alma; 4 children: Korry (Candy) Trapp, Annette (Brian) Critchett, Ryan (Sandie) Trapp, Todd (Trish) Trapp, brother Ed Trapp, 9 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.  Bill was preceded in death by his parents, brothers; Richard (Dick) Trapp, Gale Trapp, Dale Trapp, and granddaughter Brooklyn Trapp.

Services will be held Monday, February 27, 2023 at 11:00 AM in the Wing Mortuary Chapel, 118 East Main Street, Lehi, Utah. A viewing will be held one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow in the Lehi City Cemetery.
