Beverly Jane Southwick, 85 passed away peacefully on July 25, 2022, in Cedar Hills, Utah. She was born December 6, 1936 in Park City, Utah to Alex and Verda Reed. Beverly grew up in Park City and Sunnyside and attended Carbon High School. She married Edward Ted Southwick on June 1, 1957 in Elko, Nevada.
She graduated from Westminster College in Salt Lake City with a degree in nursing. She worked as a nurse for over 40 years serving her patients. Beverly enjoyed bowling, quilting, canning, but most of all, she loved spending time with her family and celebrating birthdays.
Beverly was a member of the Daughter's of the Utah Pioneers, she also enjoyed doing family history and genealogy. Beverly attended the Lehi 16th Ward in Lehi for many years, later in life she moved to The Charleston in Cedar Hills and attended the Ward there.
She is survived by her children Ronda (Jerry) Varney, Vicky Mecham (Randy Iler), 6 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren and one brother, Douglas Jones of Lehi, Utah. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son Reed Southwick and sisters Rose Perkins and Geanna Martinez.
A viewing will be held Friday afternoon, July 29, 2022 at 1:00 PM in the Wing Mortuary, 118 East Main, Lehi Utah. Graveside services will follow at 3:00 PM in the Lehi City Cemetery, 1100 North 400 East. Online guest book at wingmortuary.com
