Boyd J Alvey's Obituary
Boyd J Alvey, 78, passed away on Thursday, April 27, 2023 at home surrounded by his family. He was born on August 11, 1944 to Hosea(Hode) Jennings Alvey and Ila Davis Alvey in Escalante, Utah.
He served our country in the Army during the Vietnam era. Boyd worked in the construction industry until his retirement.
Boyd married his sweetheart Claudia Jean Pedersen on December 6, 1986.
He is survived by his wife Claudia, children; Julie (Jeff) Lundgreen, Mark Jensen, sisters; Merle Alvey Hansen, Arta Beth Alvey Pollock, and Geneal Alvey Frazier, 4 grandchildren and one great granchild. Preceded in death by his parents and 2 sisters; Thelma Alvey Smith and Ilene Alvey Coffman.
Graveside service will be held on Saturday, May 6, 2023 at 1:00 PM in the Pony Express Memorial Cemetery, 4648 North Eagle Mountain Blvd, Eagle Mountain, Utah 84005. Military honors will be performed by the United States Army Honor Guard.
