BOYD DAVE "WILKIE" WILKIN

1930 – 2025

Boyd Dave Wilkin, age 95, passed away peacefully in his home, with his loving wife Carole by his side on Thursday, April 3.

Known to his family and friends as "Wilkie" he was born on January 11,1930 to Reid and Rose Wilkin in Lehi.

He is survived by his wife Madeline (Carole), 6 children: Kalani (Johanna) Wilkin, Haleaka Wilkin, Jackie (Lane) Ketchersid, Janet Wilkin, Kaipo Wilkin and Boyd (Tora) Morrison, 12 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his first wife (Sally), 1 son (Bruce Morrison), 1 daughter (Roseanna Sanchez) and his 7 siblings.

Boyd served over 8 years in the military serving in the National Guard, Army and Navy.

Boyd worked at the Utah State Developmental Center (then known as the State Training School in American Fork, where he served as the Head of the Maintenance Dept.  During this time he also had 2 other jobs: he owned his own barber shop in Lehi and he was also a farmer.  Farming was his passion! His farm has been in his family for over 100 years and with the help of Carole, his sons, grandsons and great-grandsons he was still living and working on the farm until his last day.

He will be greatly missed by family, friends and the Lehi community that loved him.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, April 10 at the Lehi Cemetary.
