Carl Stanley Clark passed away on Monday September 26th 2022, surrounded by his loving family.
Carl was the second child born to Keith and Violet Jean Clark. He was born on May 1st 1943. He grew up in Lehi where he enjoyed spending time with family and friends. Carl attended Lehi High school where he played basketball and football. He made the All Region Football team. He graduated in 1961.
He married Susan Degelbeck and together they had eight children. Brian (Trudy), Connie (Lester) Sweat, Jody (Russ) Makin, Jill (Jeff) Kleinman, Britt (Natalie), Shay (Samantha), Tyler (Hillary), Lee (Megan)
Carl later married Nancy Bushman on Dec 20th 1993, adding Wade (Cassidi) Lehmberg to the family.
During High School he worked at Lehi Sugar Factory and Larsen's Grocery Store. After High School he went to work for the Soil Conservation Service. There he helped build dams, snow surveying and working with local farmers to improve their farms making friends along the way. After working 33 years at the Soil Conservation Service he opened Clark Cabinet and Mill with his sons, where he worked another 22 years.
He loved spending time with his family camping and hunting. Carl enjoyed his days working on the farm where he raised horses, sheep and steers. Many memories were made with grandchildren working on the farm. Carl and Nancy loved to travel around, going to horse sales and shows.
Carl is survived by his wife Nancy, brother Ron(Marsha)Clark, his children, 34 grandchildren, and 44 great grandchildren.
Preceded in death by his parents, sisters Norma and Lynette, son Brian and granddaughter Madison.
Funeral service will be held Monday, October 3, 2022 at 11:00 AM in the North Shore 1st Ward Chapel, 901 South 2300 West, Lehi, Utah. Family and friends may call Sunday evening from 6-8:00 PM at the church and one hour prior to the service on Monday morning. Interment, Lehi City Cemetery following the service.
