Carma Gray Price passed away on October 24, 2024, at the age of 95, just five days after attending the funeral of her husband, Dale H. Price.  She was born June 15, 1929, to Lloyd Bertram and Ida Ball Gray in Lehi.  She was the youngest of three children, part of a farming family during the years of the Great Depression.  She attended Lehi Schools.

Carma and Dale met each other in the first grade. In high school, Carma's activities included cheerleading, the school newspaper and tennis. She graduated in 1947. Following high school, Carma worked at the local telephone office, then in Salt Lake City for General Insurance Company.

Carma and Dale married in 1951; they have been married for 73 years. Carma continued to work as an insurance underwriter while Dale served in the Korean War.  When he returned, she helped him complete his master's degree in Education Administration, which enabled him to serve as a high school principal for 27 years in Lehi and Orem. During that time, Carma was active in literary clubs and church service, as Relief Society president on the ward and stake level. She also worked for the Alpine School District as a secretary and transportation coordinator. Most importantly, she was instrumental in supporting her husband in his career as a high school administrator.  They have two sons, Tracy, and Ryan.

Through the years, Carma and Dale have maintained close association with their friends from the days of their youth, getting together at least once a month for over 60 years. With Carma's passing, only three of "The Group" remain.

Carma was preceded in death by her husband, Dale, parents, Lloyd and Ida Gray, her two brothers, Earl and Bob, and one granddaughter, Jessica.  She is survived by her two sons Tracy (Pam), Lehi, UT and Ryan (JuLaine), Brigham City, UT; five grandchildren, and 12 great grandchildren.

Since Carma had the privilege of attending her husband, Dale's funeral just a few days before her own passing, she was content to have already met and embraced family and friends for the last time and insisted on not having a separate funeral for her so shortly after her husband's funeral.  She will be interred in the Lehi Cemetery Saturday, October 26 at 2:00 PM, following a brief family graveside service.
