"Born May 18th, 1982 along with his twin brother to Robin and Laurel Winslett in Palo Alto, California, Chris was one of the most generous, albeit quiet, people you could have known. He was always willing to help those in need and would drop almost anything to come to the aid of those he cared for.

Right out of high school, Chris eagerly dove into the service of our country by joining the Navy. He served proudly for four years.

After his military service, Chris attained 2 degrees, in Engineering Technology-Electronics, and Computer and Electronics Engineering Tech. At the time of his passing on May 8th, 2022, he was working towards a third degree in his life-long pursuit of knowledge.

Chris was very competitive with those around him and always strove to be better. He kept to himself, quietly working towards some new goal, except when he was helping others. He inherited a stubbornness like his siblings that complimented his competitive nature. He absolutely loved all types of cooking and would often do so for those he cared for.

Chris was preceded in death by his grandmother Wanda Winslett, and his grandparents Herbert and Wilma Vergason.

Chris leaves behind his crazy yet loving family, consisting of his mother, Laurel Winslett, and his father, Robin Winslett. His siblings Matthew (Dansell), Jenileese, Stephen (Tricia), Benjamin (Lindsi), and Jackson (Brittany). His nieces and nephews Erica, Wyatt, Adam, Morgan, Ithaca, Amber and Kaiden. His grandparents Richard (Dayle), and his many aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and other loved ones.

The celebration of life for Chris will be held on May 16th, 2022 at 11 am at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints located at 4142 Lake Mountain Rd, Eagle Mountain, Utah 84005. A public viewing for those interested will be held at 10 am that same day in the Relief Society room. Interment will be held at the Utah Veterans Cemetery located at 17111 South Camp Williams Rd, Bluffdale, Utah 84065 at approximately 12:30, after the celebration of life. Military honors and dedication of grave will be performed.
