Obituary

Claudia Rae Keeley Webb was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. Her life was one of giving, serving, and loving. There was not a single day that she was not thinking of others. To know Claudia, was to love her and be loved by her. She was taken early from this life on November 9, 2021 in a tragic automobile accident. She was born in Stuttgart Germany on November 1, 1955, to Arthur Ray and Nadine Aagard Keeley, the oldest of their eleven children. Claudia spent her early years in Lovell Wyoming and then moved to Hyrum Utah in the 5th grade.
Claudia met the love of her life, her husband, Reed Leon Webb in high school band, where they both played the clarinet. They were married on January 14, 1976 in the Logan, Utah temple.

One of her greatest joys was being a mother to their daughter Rita Suzanne. When Reed died in 1992, Claudia became a single mother and devoted herself to her relationship with Rita, and providing a loving, inviting home for the two of them. They were the best of friends and looked forward to their Saturday walks and weekly lunches.
Their little family was added to when Rita married Scott Hampton in 1995. He took meticulous care of her and she loved him as her own son.

With the births of her grandchildren, Averie, Corbin, and Brock Hampton, she stepped into the cherished role of Nana-- that of being a grandmother. Nana, as Claudia was lovingly called, spent countless hours with her beloved grandchildren. They had weekly date nights, Friday night sleepovers, board game competitions, crafting parties, and movie marathons. She never missed a single sports game or school performance. She cheered louder than anyone else at all of their games and was their biggest fan. She was present at all of their important events and supported them through their lives.

Claudia valued education, and pursued hers after becoming a mother. She attended Utah State University and graduated with her Bachelors of Science in 1985. This was a huge accomplishment and source of pride for her.
She gave selflessly in her church callings, and especially loved the Primary children. Countless others have received of her loving service. She fed her college age nieces and nephews a home cooked meal every Sunday, was constantly mending everyone's clothes, made themed birthday cakes for anyone she thought could use one, and was constantly looking for ways to lighten the loads of those around her. Her selfless giving and kindness will long be remembered. Even in her passing, her legacy of giving continued as an organ donor.

Claudia is preceded in death by her husband Reed, her parents Art and Nadine, and her little sister Elizabeth. She is survived by Rita and Scott, Averie Corbin and Brock Hampton, and so many siblings, nieces and nephews. Claudia--we will always cherish our time with you, and we will miss you more than words can say.

All are invited to a Celebration of Claudia's life that will be held on Friday, November 19th at 11:00 am at the LDS chapel located at 2150 Pointe Meadow Loop in Lehi, Utah. A viewing will be held prior to the service at 9:00 am. Interment will be at the Richmond City Cemetery at 3:00pm.
