Claudia Jones Powell, 76, peacefully passed away at her home on July 23, 2022. She was born on October 19, 1945 in American Fork, UT. The daughter of Albert E. Jones Jr and Elizabeth Mills. She graduated from Lehi High School and continued her education with certificates in Cosmetology and Secretarial Arts from LDS Business College. She married Darrel Glen Powell on March 3, 1967 in the Salt Lake Temple. Claudia enjoyed serving in various church callings and spending quality time with family.

She is survived by Stephanie (Mike) Floisand, Stacey (Michael) O'Neal; Christi Ann (Chris) Shakespear; sister Lynda (Thad) Beal. 9 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. Preceded in death by her daughter Jamie Lyn Powell and husband Darrel Glen Powell.

Funeral services will be held Friday, July 29, 2022 at 11:00 AM in the Welby 5th ward chapel, 4800 West 8864 South, West Jordan. Family and friends may call Thursday July 28, 2022 from 6-8:00pm at Wing Mortuary 118 E. Main St. Lehi and from 10-11:00 AM Friday morning at the church. Interment Lehi City Cemetery.
