From Duchesne to American Fork, as the child of an immigrant father and loving mother, she lived in many towns in Utah early in her life. This chapter of her adventure ended in American Fork very close to where it began.

On Friday September 15th Cleo Ruth Barbieri Holmes Adams slipped away to her new adventure. She left behind two sons and one daughter, Eldon Holmes, Angie Thompson and James Holmes. Stepchildren Darla, Debbi and Brad. Siblings Alan Barbieri and Donna Staley. She was proceeded in death by daughter Caroline Nielson, stepson Randy and first husband Ferris Holmes, and second husband Charles Adams, and many siblings. Cleo will be greatly missed by those left behind, but she has been welcomed by the many that proceeded her in death.

Cleo began to love and understand The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints early in her married life and was a devout member throughout the rest of her life.  She accepted positions to serve within the church. Cleo's life was beautiful having opportunity to travel later in life, but her life was not always easy. As a young working mother, she worked tirelessly and did everything possible to ensure her children's safety, happiness and success.

A viewing will be held at Wing Mortuary, 118 East Main Street, Lehi, Utah on September 20, 2023 at 12:00 PM.  A graveside service will follow at 1:00 pm at the Lehi City Cemetery, 1100 North 400 East.
