Colton Austin Hall, 23 years young, returned home to his Heavenly Father surrounded by his loving family on February 11th, 2021. Colton was diagnosed in January of 2021 with Stage IV Melanoma and fought valiantly up until the very end. His beautiful smile, shining example, and humor will be greatly missed by all of his family and friends in this life.

Colton was born on February 25, 1997, in Orem. He was the baby of five children born to Chad and Brooke Austin Hall. If you asked his siblings who their favorite was, they each would answer Colton. With such a wonderful, loving personality, he would do anything and everything for his family and friends. Colton had a great love for life that radiated from him like sunshine. He was a gentleman and truly the most loving person you could ever have known. Always concerned about others and would drop everything to go and help someone in need at any time.

Colton attended Sego Lily Elementary, Lehi Jr. High, and graduated early from Lehi High School in 2015.

During the summer after 7th grade at the age of 13, Colton had his first diagnosis of cancer. After many operations, at the hands of skilled physicians, Colton's cancer went into remission.

Colton was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. He had a strong testimony of his Heavenly Father and brother Jesus Christ. In his last few days upon this earth, he expressed that he was able to see his Savior with him in the room.

Colton was a hard worker in all aspects of his life. He worked as a Water Maintenance Engineer for Saratoga Springs City. He loved his job and especially his coworkers, who he considered to be his brothers. Some of his favorite things related to his job were fixing big water leaks, driving the snowplows, and if someone wasn't doing the job fast enough or correctly, he would tell them to "just move and let me do it."

Colton cherished the outdoors. You could always find him out camping or out riding his horse. Over the last few years, he enjoyed family trips to Starvation Reservoir, hunting trips up American Fork Canyon, and other weekend trips in random locations. During these trips, you would often find him dancing and singing with his family and cousins. Everybody would tease him about having an old soul because of his love for older country music.

In September, he purchased his first home in Lehi. He spent a lot of time these last few months renovating and improving it, with his family. He truly wanted to make it his own.

He is survived by his parents, siblings Talysa (Anthony) Tassone, Jessica (Jordan) Perkins, Whitney Hall, and Clayton Hall. His nephew Giovanni and nieces Isabella and Saige.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents MarDee Austin, Connie Greco, and his cousin Ryker Wilding.

The family of Colton wants to express how grateful they are to each of Colton's doctors who helped him throughout his life (especially Dr. Jamie Brant), the hospice staff with Intermountain Healthcare (specifically Jessica and Kim), the wonderful radiation department at Riverton Hospital, and Wing Mortuary for taking such great care of our youngest son & baby brother. We also would like to thank our extended family, friends, and community who have reached out, give us comfort and support during this difficult time. We are so very blessed.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, February 18, 2021 at 11:00 AM in the Sego Lily Chapel, 880 North 700 East, Lehi, Utah. Family and friends may call Wednesday evening from 6-8:00 PM at Wing Mortuary, 118 East Main, Lehi, Utah and from 9:30-10:30 AM prior to the service at the chapel. Interment will be in the Lehi City Cemetery.
