Obituary

Vincent Dale Crotts, a loving husband, father, brother, son, and papa, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on August 1, 2024, at the age of 76.
Born on April 9, 1948, to Hershel and Mildred Crotts, Dale spent his formative years in American Fork, Utah, and graduated from American Fork High School in 1966. On February 3, 1972, he married his sweetheart, Diane Usher, in the Salt Lake City Temple, beginning a lifelong partnership marked by love and shared dedication.

Dale devoted himself to his faith and community, serving a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the North Western States mission. His service as a bishop was significant, but his greatest passion was working with the youth, where he felt he could make a meaningful impact on their lives.

In his professional life, Dale and Diane founded Dale Crotts and Associates, a manufacturers' rep agency where they worked side by side. He had a great love for baseball and he scouted for the Los Angeles Angels and enjoyed engaging with young players throughout Utah. Dale's enthusiasm for baseball was matched by his devotion to his children and grandchildren, supporting them wholeheartedly in all their activities.

Known for his kindness, thoughtfulness, and easygoing nature, Dale had a great sense of humor and a gift for storytelling. His ability to connect with people, his patience, and his genuine love for others will be remembered fondly by all who knew him.

Dale is survived by his beloved wife Diane Crotts; his sons, Brandon Crotts, Ryan Crotts (Sabrina) and Trent Crotts (Brooke); his daughter, Libby Hancock (Travis); 14 grandkids and 1 great grandchild. He is also survived by his siblings Anadean Bringhurst and Brent Crotts. He was preceded in death by his parents, Hershel and Mildred Crotts, and his sister, Lynette Morrill.

A viewing will be held on the 25th of August, 2024 from 6-8pm at Wing Mortuary, 118 E Main St. Lehi, Utah. A viewing and funeral service to honor Dale's life will be held on the 26th of August, 2024. Viewing 10-11am and funeral at 11am at the LDS Chapel, 220 W 200 S, Lehi, Utah. Interment will take place at the Lehi City Cemetery.

Dale's legacy of love, generosity, and laughter will live on in the hearts of his family and all those who were touched by his life.
