On the morning March 1st 2023, Daniel Kurt Bodily, of Lehi, transferred from this world to the next. He was 62 years old.

Dan was born in Burley, Idaho on May 25, 1960 to Jack and Dona (Bowen) Bodily. He was the youngest of five children. After Dan graduated from American Fork High School in 1979, he served a two-year mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the Mississippi/ Louisiana mission. After his mission, Dan went on to study for a short time at Utah Technical College, where he met the love of his life, Ellie Davis. They married for eternity in the Jordan River Temple on April 8, 1982. They have four children. Dan later went on to gain his Bachelor of Science in Accounting from University of Utah. Dan worked successfully for a number of companies until he landed a position as COO at Solo Solutions LLC, where he worked with people he truly loved and respected. Lovingly referred to as "DB", he often treated them to homemade breakfasts.

Dan served faithfully in his church and community volunteering with the Boy Scouts of America. He loved to learn and was curious about everything. He loved sports, the arts, travel, cultures, history, food, baking and people. He loved people and he loved to serve them. He made friends everywhere he went. He loved his family dearly and took his greatest joy in spending time with them. Most of all he loved Jesus Christ and was an avid student of the scriptures much to the benefit of any he was called to teach.

Dan was predeceased by his parents and one sister, Marilyn Bodily. He is survived by his wife, his daughter Jacqueline (Michael) Gravett of the United Kingdom, three sons, Landon (Leila Shafdari) of Austin Texas, Ean (Taylore) of Kansas City, Missouri and Reagan (Jenny) of West Valley City, his 7.5 grandchildren, his sister RaNell Coleman and two brothers Lynn and Bruce.

A viewing for family and friends will be held on Tuesday, March 7th from 6-8 pm at the Cedar Hollow Stake Center (2178 North 1200 East Lehi, Utah 84043). The funeral will take place at the same location on Wednesday, March 8th at 11 am with a viewing taking place one hour prior. Interment will take place following the service at Lehi City Cemetery.

There are no words that can express how grateful we are to our neighbors who were there for our mom on the day of his passing. Also, a heartfelt thank you to the Lehi City EMT and Firefighters for doing everything they could to save our Dad.
