Danny Gene Kirkham passed away peacefully on November 26, 2020.

Danny was born on March 1, 1951 in Lehi, Utah to Gene W. and Emma LouGene Peterson Kirkham and lived in Lehi his entire Life. He married Kaye Lynn Ernst on June 16, 1972 in Lehi and raised four boys together. Danny served over 20 years in the Utah Army National Guard and was a master fabricator and mechanic that could build or fix anything.

Danny was an avid hunter and shooter and loved being in the outdoors. He was active in his community where he served on the Lehi Civic Improvement Association for many years. He also served as the president of the Provo Gun Club and Spanish Fork Gun Club and was a Utah Hunter Education Instructor. He was a life member of the Amateur Trapshooting Association and loved "buddy shoots" with the many friends that he made at the gun clubs.

Danny was a true father figure and mentor to his children and grandchildren and to numerous children and young adults in his community and the shooting community.

Danny was preceded in death by his grandparents, mother, mother-in-law, father-in-law, brother-in-law and grandson, Rustin Kirkham. He is survived by his "sweetheart" wife Kaye Lynn, father Gene (Jan) Kirkham, siblings, Peggy & Michael Williams, Laurelee Nozumi and Glade & Judy Kirkham. Sons, Gary & Cheryl Thomas, Shane & Christine Kirkham, Chad & Robynn Kirkham and Bart & Natalie Kirkham. 13 grandchildren, Kyle Thomas, Jessica & Cole Latimer, Taylor Thomas, Brittany Thomas, Shantelle & Alicia Cone-Kirkham, Cody Kirkham, Ryan Kirkham, Cheyanne & Kelly Hardy, Danielle Kirkham, Tyler Kirkham, Katelyn Kirkham and Thomas Kirkham. Three great grandchildren, Hayden Latimer, Gracie Hardy and Jeter Cone-Kirkham and three god children, Briana Conder, Chantz Conder and Grady Conder.

A viewing will be held Thursday December 3, 2020 at Wing Mortuary 118 E. Main Street Lehi, UT from 6-8:00 p.m. and from 9:30-10:30 a.m. on Friday December 4, 2020. A family only service will be held Friday December 4, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. Friends and distant family may watch the funeral on Wing Mortuary's Facebook page. Interment Lehi City Cemetery.
