Obituary

Dillon James Hutchings passed away suddenly on August 31 st, 2020 at his home in Evanston WY. He was born on June 11 th , 2006 at the American Fork Hospital to eager parents Jeff & Carrie Hutchings, & skeptical siblings, Sean & Taylir.

Dillon was a surprise blessing to his family, & brought so much more love & laughter & weirdness into everyone's lives. He has been such a great example of how to live in the moment & embrace the silly.

It would be typical to find him either talking your ear off about some incredibly random topic he was passionate about, or deep in his thoughts while he experienced & explored the world around him. He has always loved both going on grand adventures across the country with family, as well as letting his inner Hermit have quiet cozy time at home. If you were lucky enough to meet him, it's a safe bet you walked away with a whole new set of knowledge on topics ranging from video games, to politics & finance.

From his dimpled chin, big brown eyes, floppy ears, crooked smile, & hilarious giggle, his absence will always be noticed. He is such a beautiful soul & will be deeply missed by all those who love him.

Dillon is survived by his parents Jeff & Carrie Hutchings, his sister Taylir (Zach) Gordon, his brother Sean (Kayla) Hutchings, & his faithful hound dog Charlie, (as well as a very large & loving extended family.) He is also proceeded in death by so many relatives who have always watched over & awaited his return.

Please join us in celebrating his life with a simple service on Saturday, September 5 th at 2:30pm at Wing Mortuary in Lehi, with a graveside dedication at the Lehi Cemetery at 3:30pm.
