Donald Stafford Palmer passed away peacefully at his home in Lehi, Utah on May 10, 2020 surrounded by family members. He was born to Elbert and Susie (Morkve) Palmer in Williston, North Dakota on October 6, 1936.

The family moved to Lehi during his youth where he graduated from Lehi HS. He served in the United States Air Force for four years in Texas and Kansas. It is during this time that he married Helen DeAnn Walker. Together they had one son (Dale Elbert-deceased) and five daughters. After his military service was completed, he graduated from Utah State University and received a Master's Degree from BYU. Don worked as an industrial arts teacher at Hillcrest JH and Murray HS before retiring. He ran a successful quilting frame company as founder of Palmercraft in Lehi.

Don was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and served in many callings including; Bishop, MTC Branch President, High Counselor and Temple Worker. He and his wife, DeAnn fulfilled multiple church service missions including a full-time mission in Ireland. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, golf, travel, flying and BYU athletics.

He is survived by his wife, DeAnn, daughters Deia (Burton), Debbie (Dean), Diane (Cardon), Dawna (Entwistle) and Danaca (Hadfield).
