Donna M. Turner Jones, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt and friend passed away in West Jordan, Utah on January 12, 2010

She was born on November 4, 1929 in Lehi, Utah to Fred Charles Turner and Naomi Hannah Walker. On January 16, 1948 she married Blain Lionel Jones. There marriage was later solemnized in the Jordan River Temple.

Donna attended schools in Lehi, Elementary thru High School. She had several jobs throughout her life and was taught at a young age to be a hard worker while working side by side thinning beets with her Father. Her last job was working at Pyketts in Lehi as a seamstress, where she made many life-long friends.

She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints where she served faithfully in the callings that were extended to her.

She was a loving Mother to two children, Patricia (Pat) Cranney (Don), South Jordan, Utah, and Mike Jones, Lehi, Utah. She was a wonderful grandmother to 11 grandchildren and 40 + great-grandchildren.

Donna was preceded in death by her parents, and husband Blain,

sisters: Ruth Colledge, Jean Brems, Bessie Chadwick, and brother, Earl (Bud) Turner.

The family expresses gratitude to the Beehive Home in West Jordan for the care of our mother for over 12 years. We also appreciate her extended family who have visited with mom over the years. She dearly loved nephews and nieces and they loved her.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 16, 2021 at 11:00 AM in the Wing Mortuary Chapel, 118 East Main, Lehi, Utah.  A viewing will be held from 9:30 to 10:30 AM prior to the service.  Interment, Lehi City Cemetery.
