Obituary

Our precious mother, D'Veda Lea D'Agostini passed away at her home in Sandy, Utah on Tuesday, April 7, 2026 at the age of ninety. She was born on September 22, 1935 in Glendive, Montana to Charles and Doris England. She was preceded in death by her parents, her beloved husband, Roland D'Agostini and her four siblings, Charles, Iris, Charlotte and Donald. She was a beloved mother, and is survived by her five children, Julie Hales (Jim), Laura D'Agostini, Armond D'Agostini (Annette), Annunziata D'Agostini, David D'Agostini (Annette), her twenty-five grandchildren, fifty-six great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.

Mom was a talented painter and pianist, and sacrificed her time, energy, and finances to help her children develop their own talents. In addition to her accomplishments as a wife and mother, mom impressed in her work in real estate, law enforcement, and investigation for the state of California. She was an avid reader of literature and history, and constantly strove to improve her knowledge of the world.

Mom's goodness and example of love and sacrifice was a binding force and a light to our whole family. Her testimony in her Father in Heaven and Jesus Christ stayed with her all of her life and was instrumental in how she raised our family. The values and principles she strove to instill in us and her influence on us was profound. It was founded in her love, humor, devotion, creativity, intelligence, strength, beauty inside and out, and her deep faith in God and the Atonement of Jesus Christ. She always sought to do the right thing. While mom will be incredibly missed, our family is blessed to be sealed together for time and all eternity and we rejoice at the prospect of being reunited with her once again.

We love you so much, mom.
