Dwight Albert Parker, Loving husband, father, and grandfather, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, January 7, 2023, at the age of 72. Dwight was born to Teddy B. Parker and Betty Jo Parker. He married the love of his life, Elyse, 48 years ago in the Manti Temple. He is survived by his wife, Elyse, daughters Emberlin Mair (Ryan), Celeste Bohne (Jayson), Brianna Bills (Shawn), Janel Pilav (Sedin), 13 grandchildren, and three brothers - Krag, Paul, and Kerry Parker. He was preceded by his daughter, Heather Parker, his parents, and sister, Leilani Parker.
Dwight deeply loved his wife and being a father to their five daughters. He also loved his grandchildren and enjoyed spending time with them. He had a special relationship with his son-in-laws and loved each of them dearly. He cherished and loved his parents, siblings, and sister-in-laws. Dwight especially loved the Savior and serving Him. He showed love by serving those around him and giving unconditional love.
Dwight had a love for life and found joy in the simple things. He had the artistic ability to see beauty in all things. He loved to spend time outdoors including taking pictures of flowers, bird-watching, and fishing. He enjoyed writing, reading, poetry, working with wood, and painting.
His funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 14th, 2023, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints located at 1174 S. 1700 W., Lehi, UT 84043. There will be a viewing held from 11:30-12:30 p.m. followed by the funeral service at 1:00 p.m.
Interment with military honors will be at Lehi City Cemetery.
