Earl Robert Kunzler left this life for his mission in the next on September 26, 2021. Born November 19, 1934, he is the son of David and Lillian Barker Kunzler of Willard, Utah.
Earl has a deep and abiding love for life, family, God and country upon which his life was centered. As a young man, he served his country in the U.S. Army and Air Force and his church as a missionary in Switzerland and Austria. He earned a PHD from BYU in 1977.
Earl was a teacher. Upon retiring in 1999, he and Verena became full time missionaries for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.
Earl was preceded in death by his wife Verena, his son Rayman, his son-in-law Greg Greene, his grandson Steffan Tuttle, his parents, and 8 of 9 siblings.
He is survived by his children Lilli (Lance) Hatch of Roy, UT; Helen (Troy) Carlton of Lehi, UT; Earl Robert (Sherri) Kunzler Jr. of Farmington, UT; Barbara Kay (Russell) Tuttle of Albuquerque, NM; Heidi Greene of Sandy, UT, 20 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren and his sister Velda Kay (Boekweg) Chipman of Mt. Pleasant, UT.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, October 2, at 11:00 AM at Wing Mortuary located at 118 E Main St, Lehi, UT 84043. A viewing will be held prior from 9:30 to 10:30 AM also at Wing Mortuary. Interment will be at the Lehi City Cemetery. A Wing Mortuary Facebook stream will be provided for remote live viewing should you be unable to attend or prefer to join remotely.
In keeping with Earl's wishes, relatives and friends are requested not to send flowers, plants, money, or other items or donations.
