Eileen Taylor Lima, of Lehi, Utah, returned to her Heavenly Father on November 27, 2025.

Eileen was born in Salina, Utah, on March 16, 1952 to Sherrel J. Taylor and Mildred V. Taylor.  Her first home was Aurora, Utah.  Her father, Sherrel, was an elementary school teacher at Aurora Elementary, and she lived in an old house about 4 blocks away from the school.  When Eileen was 3-1/2 years old her family moved to Ruth, Nevada.  By the time she was 5 years old her life changed dramatically.  Their family, along with the rest of the small town, was told the mines were tunneling under their homes and they had to move, including their home.  A moving company came and put their house on the back of a truck and slowly moved it to East Ely, Nevada.

There, she had an amazing childhood running through and exploring fields full of sagebrush, learning to ride a bike, swim, and helping her dad make bonfires in her backyard.  When Eileen was 9 years old her father became extremely ill and had to stop working.  Therefore, her family had to leave East Ely and move to Orem, Utah.  Moving day was extremely hard for Eileen.  She had to leave her best friend and cried the entire 5 hours it took her to arrive to her new home. During her time in Orem she would pick cherries, deliver newspapers, and became a Tigerette.

When Eileen was 20 years old and attending BYU she was invited by a friend to attend a stake dance where she met Wilson Lima, the love of her life.  They were engaged one month later and married on October 5,1972 and sealed in the Salt Lake Temple on October 13, 1973.

Eileen spent the next 54 years dedicated to her family.  She selflessly served her husband, 4 children, and 5 grandchildren.  Her patience, kindness, humility, and selflessness was the perfect example of Christ-like charity.

Eileen is survived by her husband, Wilson; her 3 children Kirk (Dottie), Monica (Bruce), David (Yusa); 5 grandchildren Austin, Izabella, Alena (Josh), Monique, and Olivia; and her 2 brothers Roger (Loa) and Neil.  She is preceded in death by her parents; her son, Eric; and sister-in-law, Tammy.

A graveside service will be held at the Orem City Cemetery on Thursday, December 4th, at 3:00 p.m.
