Elizabeth Rose "Birdie" Short, age 12, passed away in Eagle Mountain, Utah.

Lizzie was a glorious light on this earth. She was a driving energy in her family. Liz brought her parents and siblings incredible joy and happiness. Her home was never without her jokes, her performances or laughter. She had a zest for life that inspired all that knew her. She lived full steam ahead and you could always hear her coming.

Lizzie was an artist at heart who loved painting, creating jewelry, crafting, and cooking, She elevated shopping to an art form. She loved to explore and savor all her favorite items at Craft Stores and Clothing Stores. Liz never found a store she didn't love.

Lizzie was a friend to everyone she met. She was sensitive to other people, offering comfort and compassion when they needed it most. Little children were captivated by Lizzie because of her bubbly personality and playful spirit.

To be in Lizzie's world is a one-of-a-kind, privileged experience:

Lizzie is survived and loved by her parents; Gregory, Chelsea (Isaac) Short; sister Sophia; brothers Hayden, Jack, Jameson Short; grandparents Jim (Lora) Short, Scott (Debbie) Isaac; great grandfather Ronald Isaac, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

A viewing will be held Wednesday June 7, 2023, from 6:00-8:00 pm at Wing Mortuary located at 118 East Main Street, Lehi, Utah.

A celebration of life gathering will be held Thursday June 8, 2023, from 1:15-2:15 at Cory B. Wride Park located at 5806 Pony Express Parkway, Eagle Mountain, Utah. People are encouraged to wear bright colors in celebration of Lizzie's life. Attendees may want to bring their own blankets, umbrellas, and lawn chairs to make them more comfortable.
