Eugene Dixon Nuttall, born at the family home in Provo, Utah on December 8, 1940 to Dean Dixon and Mary Lucile Whetstone Nuttall, passed away peacefully at his Lehi home on Saturday June 18, 2022 after battling many health issues.

Gene grew up working on his family's dairy farm in Provo which was relocated to Lehi in 1947. He served a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the Southern States Mission. Shortly after returning home, he met Marilyn Woodcox of American Fork. The two were married in the Salt Lake Temple on December 18, 1964. They raised their 6 children at their Lehi home overlooking Dry Creek.

Gene spent his career working for Utah Power and Light. After his retirement, he enjoyed a service mission at the cannery in Orem, remained active in his ward, and worked a part-time job at Legacy Elementary. Gene loved to take road trips around Utah and surrounding areas and was able to travel the world.

After losing his beloved wife in 2010, Gene began collecting and restoring antique tractors which he loved to ride in the Lehi Round-Up parade with his children and grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents, his wife, both his brothers: Ron and Eddie Nuttall and a sister, Joan Nuttall. He is survived by his sister Nedra Baum, Lindon; his children: Gary (Janeal) Nuttall, Orem; Angela Nuttall Ward, Waverly, IA; Troy Nuttall, Lehi; Jeff (Barbie) Nuttall, Lehi; Brian (Ashra) Nuttall, Bothell, WA; Amy (James) Stokes, Orem; 11grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at the 19th Ward chapel, 145 E. 1500 N. in Lehi at 11am on Monday June 27, 2022. Viewings will be held Sunday June 26 from 6-8 pm and Monday, June 27 from 9:30-10:30 am at the 19th Ward chapel. Following the services, Eugene will join his wife in the Lehi City Cemetery.
