Frank Preston Starke
June 30, 1937 – October 3, 2025

Frank Preston Starke, 88, of San Bernardino, California, passed away peacefully on October 3, 2025, joining his beloved wife of 60 years, Mickie Jean Starke, in heaven.

Born June 30, 1937, to Frank Prescott Starke and Aileen Lillian Osborn, Frank was the eldest of two children and is survived by his brother, Donald James Starke. He married Mickie on March 28, 1964, in the Los Angeles Temple. Together they raised four children, Kerrie, Frank (Trina), Sundie (Shaw), and Kristie, and were blessed with 12 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.

Frank worked for Southern California Edison for over 30 years, retiring as a research analyst. He was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, serving in many callings including Bishop and temple worker.

Known for his generosity and love of service, Frank volunteered with the Red Cross, the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department, and his local community. He loved family traditions at Shaver Lake, Scouting, fishing trips, cars, and building projects.

Frank lived fully, faithfully, generously, and joyfully. His legacy of service and love will live on in all who knew him.
