Obituary

Our hearts are broken to announce the passing of Gaylene Green on May 22, 2025. Gaylene

lived a beautiful life full of love and laughter, but eventually succumbed to complications brought

on by diabetes. Born on April 29, 1954, Gaylene grew up in Orem, Utah. She graduated from

Orem High School, where she met her soul mate, Max Green Jr. She later married Max on

August 18, 1972, and together they left Utah to build a life together. Gaylene and Max had three

children: Max, Ryan, and Misty. They were sealed together as a family for all eternity in the Los

Angeles Temple on May 28, 1983. After the death of Max in 1993, she met her current partner,

Wilkie. Together, the two of them created a new life surrounded by countless friends and family.

Gaylene loved spending time with family and friends. She enjoyed helping raise her

grandbabies, taking care of her animals, and spending time in the mountains sitting around the

campfire. Gaylene had a huge heart that enriched the lives of everyone lucky enough to know

her.

Gaylene is survived by her two sons, Ryan (Heather) and Max (Andreas), her brother Darren

(Misty) Beckstrom, her sister Karma Miller, and her later partner in crime, Scott "Wilkie" Wilkin.

She has numerous grandkids and great-grandkids who will all miss their grandma dearly. She is

preceded in death by her husband, Max Green Jr., her daughter Misty Harter, her parents,

Heber and June Beckstrom, and her two brothers, Shirl and Randall Beckstrom.

We would like to thank the Utah Valley Hospital staff, especially Nurses Maria Peck and Sunny,

whose dedication and service made Gaylene's last days as calm and peaceful as possible.

A viewing will be held for those to wish to say farewell at Wing Mortuary on May 29th, located at

118 E Main St. in Lehi, from 10:00–11:30 a.m. A graveside service will be held afterwards at the
