Gaylon Frederick Pugh, 87, of Lindon Utah passed away peacefully at home on January 5, 2024.

He was born on September 22, 1936 in Kanab Utah to David Edgar Pugh and Ione Shaw  Pugh. He was raised in Tooele and spent most of his life in Lehi where he owned and operated Gaylon Pugh's Drivelines. This is where he made and formed lifelong friendships.

Gaylon was a natural mechanic and fix-it man. He was an outdoor enthusiast that loved spending time with family and friends riding 4 wheelers and side by sides, but his true passion was riding snowmobiles. He loved the mountains in any season, whether playing, fishing or hunting. In his free time he loved to garden and work on projects around the house and serve as a scout leader. He was quick to do favors and was happy to be of service to his community.

He had a love for Jesus Christ and made his Priesthood responsibilities a high priority. He read scriptures daily and kept up on his journal writing.

Gaylon was loved by many and will be missed.

Funeral service will be held Friday, January 12, 2024 at 12:00 Noon in the Lehi 2nd Ward Chapel, 481 East 300 North, Lehi, Utah.  Family and friends may call Thursday evening from 6-8:00 PM at Wing Mortuary, 118 East Main, Lehi, Utah and Friday morning from 10:00 to 11:45 AM prior to the service at the chapel.  Interment will follow in the Lehi City Cemetery, 1100 North 400 East.
