George Preston Crossman, 71, passed away June 11, 2022. He had his loving wife, Cindy, and his sister-in-law, Katherine, by his side.

George joined Neola, his sweetheart, who proceeded him in death by 16 years, on the other side along with his parents, grandparents and many other beloved family members and in-laws.

George was born in Lehi, Utah December 2,1950 and passed away in Lehi, Utah. He was oldest of George and Elma Crossman's three sons. The boys grew up on the family farm riding horses, playing in the great outdoors, and getting into trouble on occasion. His great outdoor adventures as a youth likely inspired his future love of the scouting program and mountain man rendezvous's.

George served a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of latter-day Saints in Southern Nevada and Northern Arizona. He returned to southern Nevada after his mission and met his eternal companion, Neola Anderson Crossman. There they raised their six children for 30 plus years before Neola's passing. He loved to socialize and call or visit friends and family. If a mountain man or scouting rendezvous was happening in the area George was sure to be involved in the planning.

He is survived by his wife Cindy Anderson Crossman of 15 years. His family, children, and grandchildren love and will miss him until they are reunited again, they are George Guy Crossman (Tosha Crossman), Eve Crossman Keenan (Robert Keenan), Joy Crossman, Preston Crossman (Jennifer Crossman), Kate Crossman Staheli (Corey Staheli), Garn Crossman (Lauren Crossman), and 18 grandchildren.

A viewing will be held on Tuesday, June 14, 2022 at 4:00 PM at the Jordan Willows 4th Ward Chapel, 2161 West Gray's Drive, Lehi, Utah. The funeral service will start at 5:00 PM right after the viewing at the same chapel. Interment will take place in Las Vegas, Nevada on Monday, June 20, 2022.
