George Harold Rasmussen, born May 6, 1936, in Clark County, Nevada to Harold Rasmussen and Madge Fox Rasmussen, passed away December 4, 2022 at the age of 86.  He is survived by his wife, Judy Ann O'Neil Rasmussen; daughters Lynn Pack (Jim), Jean McAllister (Ben), Gail Navidomskis (Mike), Lara Anderson (Charlie), Sarah Thomas (Gordon), and son Neil Rasmussen (Becky), 30 grandchildren, and 17 great grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his son, Steven Todd Rasmussen and grandson Michael Timothy Rasmussen.

George loved the Lord and the gospel of Jesus Christ.  He loved serving in the temple.  He served three full time missions, one as a young man to the California/Arizona area, and two with his wife Judy, first to Chile Santiago Norte, and the second, a Family History Mission in Salt Lake City.  George was always active with basketball and racquetball games at lunch, running a marathon and maintaining a huge garden.  He was a longtime fan of BYU football and basketball.  He loved watching his grandchildren perform in whatever they were doing, and he loved fishing.

Services will be held Wednesday, December 14, 2022 at 1:00 pm at the LDS chapel at 5848 W 11000 N, Highland Utah.  Interment will take place in the Lehi City Cemetery.
