Beloved Father, Grandfather, and Friend

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Glen Johnson, a loving father, cherished grandfather, and true friend, who left this world surrounded by the love of his family.

Glen was a man who loved deeply and gave selflessly. He was a devoted dad who loved his children more than anything in this world. To his children, he wasn't just a dad, he was a protector, a teacher, and a constant source of unconditional love. That same love extended effortlessly to his grandchildren, who brought him immeasurable joy and pride.

Glen had a lifelong passion for trains. He found joy in the simple peace of watching them go by, often traveling across Utah just to sit and soak in their steady rhythm. He especially loved going to train shows, where his eyes would light up like a kid again. For Glen, trains were more than a hobby, they were a way to connect to the wonder of the world.

He was also the kind of man you could count on. A true friend in every sense, Glen would give you the shirt off his back, even if it was the only one he had. His generosity, kindness, and unwavering support touched the lives of many, and his legacy of love and loyalty will live on in all who knew him.

Glen will be missed beyond measure, but his spirit continues in the love he shared, the stories he told, and the memories he helped create.

Rest easy, Dad. You were one of the good ones.

Glen is survived by his sister Ruth (Tony), brother Rusty, his children Brian (Taylor), Daniel (Amanda), Melanie (Terry), seven beloved grandchildren and many nieces and nephews who loved him.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Glen and Ranee, and his brothers Paul and Dale.

To honor him, we're having a Celebration of Life on Saturday, May 31st at 2:00 PM at 2439 Bridle Oak Dr, South Jordan, UT 84095.
We would love for anyone who knew and loved our dad to join us. We'll enjoy good food, share stories, sing karaoke (because he would've loved that), and simply celebrate the amazing man he was.
