Glenna Deen Blau Wilson, 85, returned home on November 28, 2021. She was surrounded by her loving family and they stood vigil over her with great tenderness as the angels gently lifted her spirit in the heavenly hands of her Savior. Glenna was born on July 31, 1936, to her goodly parents Frederick and Elva Mandana Richardson Blau. She was loved by everyone she met. She grew up on a farm in Nibley, Utah where she had a wonderful childhood with fun and hard work on the family farm. Her mother taught her how to cook and she excelled at this talent for the remainder of her life.

She graduated from South Cache High School in Hyrum, Utah. She met her future husband, Tracy Revill Wilson in Tooele, Utah and they married on June 1, 1966 in the Logan LDS Temple. They lived in Tooele for a short time, and then ventured with their family in 1978 to American Samoa where they taught for two years. They returned to Utah and settled in Lehi where they raised their six children and numerous foster children.

Being a mother was central in Glenna's life and she was a constant example of Christ, which was especially evident in the nurturing of her family. Life is about choices, and Glenna humbly made the right choices, choosing to live each day with joy and unconditional love. If you met her, then you were blessed to feel the Savior's love. She never said an unkind word and loved others the way the Savior did, unconditionally, and without hesitation.

She was blessed to have six children who were born to a mother who cherished them and their differences. She made sure that each felt they were secretly their mother's favorite. Her 28 grandchildren were also blessed with her never ending love and she constantly kissed and hugged them at every opportunity.

Glenna was an exceptional cook and baker, and was well known for her breads, pies, cakes, cookies and cinnamon rolls. No one ever left her house empty handed but her compassion extended to everyone. Her children watched and learned from their mother. She taught school and counseled in Clearfield, Tooele, Lehi and American Samoa.

Glenna was a woman of great faith. She is a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and happily chose to spend her days in constant service to others. She magnified every calling, serving in a number of stake and ward positions. She had an exceptional testimony of her Savior, Jesus Christ, and found strength in her love of Him.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters and three brothers. We are comforted in the knowledge that we will be together again, and we will honor her legacy by being joyful in our lives and serving others with unconditional love.

A viewing will be held on Thursday, December 2, 2021 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints chapel located at 220 West 200 South, Lehi, Utah. The funeral will be held on Friday, December 3, 2021 at 12:00 Noon at the River View 8th Ward, 287 West River Chapel Road, Draper, Utah with a one hour viewing prior to the service. Interment will follow in the Mountain View Memorial Estates, 3115 East 7800 South, Salt Lake City, Utah.
