Grant Lowell Gibb, a loving father, brother, grandfather and friend passed away on January 3, 2025. He was born April 9, 1941 to Dale S Gibb and Wanda M Coleman Gibb. The fourth out of five brothers and one sister in Salt Lake City.

Grant attended Salt Lake schools and graduated from East high in 1960 where he lettered in football, wrestling, and track. Grant attended the University of Utah on a football scholarship in 1961 but he postponed his studies at the U when he received a call to serve a two year LDS mission to Sydney Australia.

After his return home, he met his future wife Caroline Dunn when they were introduced by a mutual friend at a dance in the terrace ballroom of downtown Salt Lake City.  They were married six months later in the Salt Lake City Temple on June 24, 1966. From that union they spent many wonderful years together raising two great children a son David and a daughter Jolynn. The greatest joy came when they became grandparents to six amazing grandchildren, Mccall, Sydney, Jaxson, Connor, Jayden and Ryker.

Grant loved his long time partner and companion in life very much. They celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on June 24, 2016. Grant's career was in retail credit and Real Estate loan management. Grant loved fishing, golf ,golf and golf. Grant was a huge fan of the University of Utah football and basketball teams and held season tickets to both for many years.

Grant is survived by David and Jolynn, grandchildren and sister Sharon. Preceded in death by Dale S Gibb and Wanda Coleman Gibb, brothers; Douglas Gibb, Ron Gibb, Lawrence Gibb and Eldon Gibb.

Graveside service will be held on Friday, January 10, 2025 at 11:00 AM in the Lehi City Cemetery, 1100 North 400 East.
