Ila Effie Gibbons Pulley passed away Thursday, October 13, 2022, at Stonehenge Assisted Living Center at the age of 91. She was born in American Fork, Utah on December 11, 1930, to Era Benjamin and Effie L. Pectol Gibbons.

She had 6 children: Leon Pulley (Connie), Valerie Curtis, Una Jones (John), Eldon Pulley (Cheryl), Gordon Pulley (Cary), and Tina Madsen. She had 16 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great-grandchildren.

She was proceeded in death by her husband Glen Pulley and son, Leon Pulley.

She loved to garden, read, and crochet and made beautiful afghans and slippers for everyone. She loved music and always had it playing in her home, especially at Christmas. She did a lot of volunteer work in her spare time. She volunteered at an Elementary school helping children to read, she was a volunteer at the American Fork Hospital and worked at the American Fork Temple for many years. She served as Relief Society President multiple times and many other callings throughout the years in the LDS church. She loved playing cards and carpooling to church with the group of widows in the Seven C's Mobile Home Park. In her earlier years she loved camping and the outdoors.

Her funeral will be held on Friday, October 21, 2022, at 11:00 p.m. at the LDS church located at 507 West 700 North, American Fork, Utah. A viewing will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 20, 2022, and also an hour prior to funeral on October 21, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. at the church. Online guestbook at wingmortuary.com.
