Jack Ryan Harris, age 20 of Saratoga Springs passed away while surrounded by his family on September 28, 2024. Jack was in a single car accident in American Fork Canyon where he loved to hang out and explore with his friends. He was life flighted to Utah Valley where doctors were initially optimistic he would recover, but later suffered a stroke that caused his passing. Jack was able to donate some of his organs to others before he passed.
Jack was born to Mark and Jana Harris on December 30, 2003. He was loved and known by many as Baby G, Jack the Big Mac, Jackie, Bo-Bo, Lucie, and Local Guapo.
Since a very early age, Jack was surround by wonderful friends who nicknamed themselves "The Boys". This band of boys grew up together exploring their small town while creating adventures and memories. As they gathered to celebrate Jack, they said; "Our identity as a group came from Jack, he was the organizer, the host, and the includer. Jack made huge efforts to make sure people were included and ok." "Jack was the creative one, he was a standup comedian with a very quick wit. The things he thought of and said were the cool things we all adopted and started to use." Some of their favorite Jackisms were: "Don't worry I will include you in the credits", "Fancy Pants", "Stay Frosty", "Tell me more", Oh Henry", "Lets go to Eureka!"
Jack attended schools in Saratoga and graduated from West Lake High school in 2022.
He worked while pursuing his love of music. He was very talented, loved rap, and was very consistent and committed. He would research different rappers and samples, and wrote in a notebook to improve his lyrics. He was open about his struggles which he incorporated into his music. He released a 10 track album on Soundcloud in 2023. 'Bliss inside Tokyo-3'
Jack had many hobbies including a love of movies, memes, podcasts, cars, photo editing, cats, concerts, anime, skateboarding, mountain biking and football. He earned his Eagle Scout award in August 2020.
Jack will be deeply missed by his siblings; Jordan Lauriha, Matt (Kylee) Harris, Jade (Daniel) Mathieu, Madeline Harris. His nieces and nephews; Vivienne, Goldie, Nate, Freddie.
Grandparents; Marty Harris, Sherman & Vickie Bronson.
He was supported and loved by the large extended Bronson & Harris families.
Jack was met and welcomed in heaven by his big sister, McKenna and grandmother, Carol Harris.
