Jackie Leon Easter , AKA Daddy Rabbit, AKA Papa Jack was born July 31, 1957 in Rock Hill, SC. To David and Laura Easter. His fiancé of 25 years Linda Nielson and her family survive Jack: Hunter Nielson (Nina) Boston, Ele, Chase, Peyton, Dallas. Brooke Page, Kalyn Page, Madyx Page, Reggie Nielson, Lincoln Nielson. Sister, Bobby Sue Waldon (Barbara) her son John Waldon. Sister Brenda Raines, her children: Amanda Outlaw, Timmy Outlaw, Laura Ann Easter. Sons: David Easter & Danny Ray Easter Taylor.

Jack was one of a kind with a personality that would make anyone laugh. He had a heart of gold and was always there for anyone in need and was always a protector. He was a fanatic about having clean shoes and wore the same white Reeboks all of his adult life. Until he moved to Utah 11 years ago and was given a pair of Pumas that matched his hat. From then on he had to have matching shoes for every hat he had. He wasn't about to let anyone catch him without matching hat and shoes. (He has A LOT of shoes!) His passions were Dale Earnhardt / NASCAR, the Steelers, Clemson, and his Great Coca Cola collection.

Jack's favorite pastime was playing 3-ball on Saturdays with the boys at Scorez Bar in Lehi, he wouldn't miss it for anything. He played right up to the very end, the weekend before his passing. Even though he could barely walk or talk and in much pain, he wasn't going to miss out on being with his buddies. Dakota, Bill, Kevin, Radar, Rigby, Royce, Dustin, Travis and Coach.

Jack's occupation was a painter, he had his own business in Myrtle Beach for many years; and gave that up to come to Utah to be with his love Linda Nielson and worked for Petersen Painting for the last 11 years.

He was a legend wherever he went. He frequented HOTO's on the ocean for many years while living in N. Myrtle Beach, he never drank at home, and he always said if he couldn't pay $2.75 for a beer, he wasn't drinking it. He loved the friendships he had there and they loved him too!

The friendships and support have been overwhelming. We have been so blessed with so much love. I would like to thank everyone that has crossed our path and given so much in many ways, before and after Jack's passing. I don't know what I would do without you all!

My favorite thing about Jack was the way he made me laugh every morning before I even got out of bed and every night before I went to sleep along with the whole day through. I also loved the way he took pride in everything he did. He had a work ethic like no other. He loved to keep the yard nice, and he loved his man cave that was filled top to bottom, every inch but he would always find a way to squeeze in one more thing.

He will be beyond missed by SO many. R.I.P. my love!
