James Dean "JD" Elsmore, age 81, passed away peacefully in his sleep, Monday, February 21 st , 2022.

JD was born May 18 th , 1940 in Los Angeles, California to Wendell Kjar Elsmore & Maida Louise Plouff Elsmore. Maida Elsmore tragically passed away from complications after the birth of JD's younger brother, Melvin "Mel" Elsmore. JD was only 4 years old.

Wendell remarried to Barbara Phillips, He acquired more siblings from this union. Jean Ellen, Wendolyn (passed away), Wendell Kjar II (passed away) and Judy Anne.

He met and married the love of his life, Joni Larson Elsmore. They were married for more than 60 years. They had two Children, Jim and Julie and have eleven grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren.

He loved the Boy Scouts, Camping, Fishing and Classic Cars.

Ran a Landscaping business and designed and built many swimming pools. His vocation later in his life, moved towards his love of carpentry work, which he has had passed down for many generations. Designing and building cabinets and furniture pieces. He also loved to watch a good western movie and above all, He loved his family.
