Janele Forrest Piercy, a dedicated and loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, and friend passed away on November 10th, 2023, at the Huntsman Cancer Institute in Salt Lake City, Utah.
Janele was born in Brigham City, Utah, on February 8, 1963, to Judith Alexandra Jueschke and Dee Rhodes Forrest.

She graduated with the class of 1981 from Box Elder High School then continued on to Ricks College where she graduated in 1985 with an Associates of Fine Arts degree in Illustration. While at Ricks College, she met her husband, Bruce Duane Piercy. They were married in the Oakland, California LDS Temple for time and all eternity on August 4th, 1984.

During her working life, she undertook various roles focused on youth care while supporting her husband's career and raising three children. In addition, she enjoyed sewing, quilting, and running her successful craft business, 'Country Giggles by Janele'.

She was a faithful member of the LDS church, serving in many callings including; Stake Relief Society Presidency, Ward Relief Society Presidency Counselor, Sunday School Teacher, Activities Committee, Ward Missionary and Bulletin Specialist.

She is survived by her husband, three children: Tausha and Chad Wierlo, Fayetteville, NC; Landon and Thuy Piercy, NE; Nicholas and Tori Piercy, NE; and one grandchild, Presley Wierlo, NC. She is also survived by her mother and seven brothers and sisters: Daren, Jaylene, Annette, Brennen, Jeffrey, Tracy, and Drake. She was preceded in death by her father Dee Rhodes Forrest.

A viewing will be held Thursday, November 16, 2023, from 9-10:30 a.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 1998 West 900 North, Lehi, Utah 84043.  Funeral services will occur at 11:00 a.m., with the graveside dedication at the Brigham City Cemetery at 3:00 p.m.
