Janice Marie James Walton passed away Wednesday January 27, 2021 in Provo Utah, after battling a long period of health issues. She fought hard everyday through much pain and tribulation.
Janice was born to Kenneth Larue James and Myrl Margaret Guidry October 2, 1948 in Houma, Louisiana. She was the oldest of four children.
She married the Love of her Life Robert Kay Walton February 4, 1977 for time and Eternity in the Provo Temple. Together they had four children....Shawn (Paige)Walton, Jason (Tiffany) Walton, Stacy (Lorenzo) Sorenson, and Jennifer Arnbrister.
She loved ALL her grandchildren and would do anything for them. They meant the world to her and loved everything about being a Grandma. Grandchildren... Brayden, Riley, Jake, Kinzlee, Madelyn, Logan, Marissa, Landon, Samantha and Savannah.
She was always dedicated to everything she did. She worked in multiple positions from Banking, Book Keeping, and assisted in the Family Business.
She was a convert to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. She was baptized August 13, 1974. She served faithfully in church callings. She had such a strong love for the Gospel and Jesus Christ. She enjoyed doing genealogy and learning about her Ancestors. She always had a story to tell, whither it was a ghost story, something new she found out about a ancestor, or about the Cajun Mafia. She was a true Cajun through and through. She always kept you entertained with her witty sense of humor.
Janice could figure out anything she put her mind to. She loved to sew, crochet, make dream catchers and anything else she desired to learn.
She loved everyone who she came in contacted with. She would never judge anyone and always looked for the good in someone. She truly had a Christlike love for everyone. Always looked for opportunities to serve wherever she could. You always left her presence feeling good about yourself. She touched the hearts of everyone she came in contact with.
She is Survived by her Husband, Four Children, Three Siblings (Kenny James, Wanda Leyva, & Lynn James). Also Two Life Long Friends... Jane Zesiger and Juanita Parks.
ALL family & friends are welcome to attend a viewing in her honor....
Viewing will be held on Friday January 29, 2021 at Wings Mortuary (118 E. Main St. Lehi) from 7-9pm. On Saturday January 30, 2021 a Viewing from 1:30-2:30 at Wing Moruary for close family and friends. Following we will proceed to the Lehi Cementary for a small Graveside Service.
We would like to thank DaVite Dialysis (in American Fork), Dr. Von Welch, and also Utah Valley nurses and Doctors for all the care and love given to our Wife/Mother.
