Jason Dean Barber, 56, passed away on September 24, 2021 in Hermitage, Tennessee from Covid 19. He was born on November 10, 1964 to Lester and LuVilla Barber in Salt Lake City, Utah.

He attended schools in South Jordan and also Lehi, where he graduated from Lehi High School. He enjoyed Country Music, the National Predators, the University of Utah sport teams and spending time with his family. Jason was a radio announcer in Richfield, Utah,  Great Falls, Montana and Helena Montana.

On May 9, 1997 he married his sweetheart Cynthia Stern in Helena, Montana and became a father to her children; Kevin, Kelly, Kristina and Kara.

Jason and Cindy moved to Mount Juliet, Tennessee where he started his own trucking business called Big Sky Truckin'. He enjoyed being a trucker and being out on the open roads.

He is survived by his parents Les and Lu Barber, his wife Cindy, their children; Kevin (Karen), Kelly (Kalli) Kristina (Mike) and Kara (Matt), his brothers; George (Teresa), Les Jr. (Diane), Marty (Janet) and many grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held Tuesday, October 5, 2021 in the Lehi City Cemetery, 1100 North 400 East, Lehi, Utah at 11:00 AM.
