Jeanette Rasmussen Haws passed away June 11, 2024 in Saratoga Springs, Utah, due to complications of surgery. She was born December 31, 1955 in Murray, Utah to Clyde K Rasmussen and Ila Bernice Radmall Rasmussen.

She grew up in West Jordan, UT. She graduated from Bingham High School, then Weber State University.  After graduating college she lived in the Lehi, UT area with her family and taught in Jordan School District for about 28 years.  She helped open new elementary schools in South Jordan, UT and Bluffdale, UT.  She loved watching her students grow throughout their lives.

She loved to sing with the Utah Valley Choral Society. Singing "The Messiah" each year was among her favorite times. She rode horses in the 7-11 riding club when she was younger and continued to support the club throughout her life.

She married John Knollin Haws Jr. December 10, 1999 and became the mother of 7 children.  They were sealed in the Mt. Timpanogos Temple April 18, 2001. John passed away in 2017. She enjoyed the visits with her children, grandchildren, nieces and nephews and time they had together.

She shared John's passion for History and was an integral part of helping him establish the Lehi Historical Society.  She helped John collect and organize items for his collection of the Presidents of the United States. They enjoyed displaying the collection for the public to enjoy.

She was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, serving in a variety of callings. Even when she was unable to attend, she watched online.

Throughout her life she was able to travel the world.
Although she suffered with arthritis, she still sewed Cabbage Patch doll clothes for the children, played games, helped them learn piano and other activities.

She attended every event she could to support her family.
