JEANINE TAYLOR

1956-2026

On February 3, 2026, our beautiful sister, aunt, and cousin returned home to her Father in Heaven.

Jeanine was born June 10, 1956, to Glade and Edna Taylor in Richfield, Utah.  She was born handicapped, and couldn't walk well unassisted.  She lived in Loa, Utah during her childhood. She loved being with her family learning and growing on the farm.  Her mother taught and helped her so much.  She wanted Jeanine to have as normal of a life as possible.

Jeanine was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints her whole life.  She loved her Heavenly Father and always wanted to do what was right.  She was a great example to all who knew her.  She loved ministering to many.

During high school, she loved her seminary classes where her brother, LaVaa Taylor, was her seminary teacher.  She enjoyed being taught by him so much!  She also graduated with four years of Institute.

In her ward, she served as a Relief Society secretary and teacher, Young Women's counselor and teacher, Primary counselor and teacher, Nursery worker, and Visiting Teacher. She also served as a missionary in the BYU Pathway Program for five years to help students from Utah and Africa gain a better education and life.  She loved working with the other missionaries and students.  She was so happy and thankful to serve this mission.

She was a Temple Ordinance Worker for five years in the Provo and the Mt. Timpanogos Temples.  She loved being in the temple serving weekly with so many other wonderful temple workers, and helping so many patrons.

Jeanine lived a very rich life.  There was so much she could do.

She crocheted afghans, a bedspread, she sewed around 200 Christmas Stockings  for her family. She decorated them beautifully with sequins and beads!  Each family member enjoys putting up their beautiful stocking at Christmas. They are a great reminder of Jeanine and her love.

Jeanine loved serving, and many were blessed because of her thoughtfulness, her generosity, and her encouraging words.  Also, through her many prayers. She leaves a legacy of love, service, hope, and faith.  Because of her tremendous faith, her Father in Heaven blessed her in many ways.

Jeanine had the honor of living with and taking care of our Mom and Dad during their golden years.  As siblings, we were privileged to help with their care also.

Jeanine is preceded in death by her father Glade Taylor, her mother Edna Taylor, her sister Sharon Stroud, her brother LaVaa Taylor, and countless other extended family members.

We love you, Jeanine, and we will miss you.

Thanks to family, friends, and neighbors who lovingly helped her during her life. We are also grateful for the Hospice nurses, the Social workers, and others who assisted her in the Covington Senior Living facility who encouraged her and kept her comfortable before her death. Thank you to all who came to visit her.  She loved your visits.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, February 14, 2026 at 11 am at the Stake Center, 851 N 1200 E, Lehi, Utah.

Viewings: Friday night, the 13th at 6 pm at the Stake Center, and Saturday at 10 am before the Funeral.

Interment will be in the Lindon City Cemetery under the direction of Wing Mortuary, Lehi.
