Jerold G. Prestwich passed away at his home surrounded by his family on August 6, 2024. He was born December 27, 1943 in Missoula, Montana.

When he was in grade school his family moved to Provo and opened up a hamburger joint. When he was in junior high school he moved to Idaho with his aunt and uncle for a couple of years, he loved that time he got to spend with his cousins. He moved back to Orem in High School where he met the love of his life in 12th grade.

Dad and Mom started dating in January his senior year (1962) and they got married October 5th, 1962. Later they were sealed in the Draper Temple of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints on March 15th, 2010. Dad went to UVU (Tech School) for 2 years in the construction management program. He was in the first class to make it through the program. Dad was a mason contractor for 60 years. Dad always had great ideas to get things to work and he was a great teacher.

Dad loved razor riding, hunting, fishing, spending time at the café with the guys but most of all spending time with his beautiful wife and family. Later in life he became very active in the church which he loved very much. Dad liked to build with wood and metal and came up with a lot of very creative inventions. Dad is loved by too many to count and will be greatly missed.

He was preceded in death by his son Adam. Survived by his wife of 62 years Karen, 5 children; Tawnya (Kurt) Krehbiel, Glenn (Jan) Prestwich, Jason (Jackie) Prestiwich, Niki (Jason) Beal, Shaylyn (Benjamin) White, 10 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.

There will be a Celebration of life Saturday September 14th, 2024 from 4:00-7:00 p.m. at 757 West 1375 North, Lehi, Utah. We would like to thank all those who have reached out to our family at this time.
