Jerrold Junior
Brower
Mar 18, 1930 — Apr 21, 2025
Jerrold Junior Brower, age 95, beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and brother, passed away from this earth the morning of April 21, 2025 to be greeted by his Heavenly Father and family on the other side of the veil.
Born March 18, 1930 to parents Jacob Lorenzo Brower and Elvira Walker Brower, Jerrold was the second of fourteen children. He was a great example to his many younger siblings. He proudly served his country from 1951 to 1959 during the Korean War. Jerrold served several missions for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the Northwestern States Mission (and the West Spanish American Mission(1961-1964). During the latter, he met Sister Esther Herrera and, upon completion of her mission in autumn 1964, he changed her name to Esther Brower. Together they created a beautiful family centered in the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
Jerrold became a Master Electrician working for the Sunshine Mining Company in Idaho and the Los Angeles Times in California. With the children grown and grandchildren coming forth, Jerrold and Esther were able to continue what they loved: serving the Lord. They served a mission in Laredo, Texas from 2001-2003, as well as several other service missions.
Jerrold was an extraordinary leader in his family as well as in his many church callings. He is survived by his loving wife, Esther, his sons Jerry Brower and Rick Brower, his daughters Carmela Brower and Jacqueline Thompson, 11 grandchildren, and 4 great-grandchildren. Jerrold's patience and love have left an indelible impression on all of his family. His strong testimony and love for the Lord will continue to strengthen many into the eternities.
Funeral Service for Jerrold Junior Brower will be held May 2, 11:00 am at the Lehi 43th Ward Chapel (3180 North 300 West, Lehi, UT 84043)
