JoAnne Bennion Copier, age 78, of Highland, Utah passed away peacefully early Friday morning, December 22, 2023.  She was the beloved wife of Floris Copier and loving mother of Shelly Bennion, Amy Wells, Steven Bennion, and Melissa Watts. She was also grandmother of 34 grandchildren.

JoAnne was proceeded in death by her late husband Lynn Bennion, and her son Casey Bennion.

JoAnne loved the beauties of the world and found peaceful moments as she tenderly cared for her colorful roses. She was an incredible seamstress, gardener, artist and example.

JoAnne will always be known as one of "the sweetest"and kindest of women. She knew how to make everyone feel special and loved.  JoAnne cherished the time she was able to care for her beautiful daughter Shelly and the residents at the Utah State Development Center.

Though we are heartbroken and will miss her, we rejoice in our knowledge of eternal families.  We are so grateful for her life, legacy, and commitment to her family and the gospel of Jesus Christ.  We love you, Jo!

Services will be held at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day-Saints at 5848 West 11000 North Highland, Utah 84003. A viewing will be held on Wednesday, December 27th, 2023 from 6:00-8:00 PM and also Thursday December 28th form 10:00-10:45. A funeral service will be held Thursday December 28th at 11:00 AM. Internment will take place following the service at the American Fork Cemetery.
