Obituary

On Thursday, October 22, 2020, Johnny Lane Crandell, loving husband and father of three children, passed away at age 57 due to complications from an auto/motorcycle accident.

John was born April 25, 1963 in San Juan county in the State of New Mexico. His parents were Albert Wayne Crandell and Toni M. Evensen. He grew up in Snowflake, AZ. He accepted a call to serve a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints to Peru. He received his Bachelor's and MBA degrees from the University of Phoenix. John practiced accounting and tax resolution for over 20 years in Lehi, UT. On December 14, 1985, he married Nusset Irene Ibarra in the Provo Temple. They raised three children, Catherine, Kenneth and Jonathan.

John loved life and had a passion for helping others and connecting with people. He especially loved spending time with the love of his life, Nusset, his children, grandchildren and extended family. He also enjoyed Scuba diving, golfing and riding his motorcycle. He loved cheering for his favorite team, the BYU Cougars. John was known for his quick wit and his kind and compassionate spirit.

John was preceded in death by his mother, Toni and his sister, Brenda. He is survived by his wife, Nusset, his three children Catherine (Jed) Glazner, Kenny (Julianne), Jonathan, his eight grandchildren, his two sisters: Debbie (Bill) and Rhonda, and his six brothers: Wesley, Randy (Carmen), Gene, Kevin, Kelly, and Steven.

A public viewing will be held Tuesday, October 27th at Wing Mortuary, 118 E Main St, Lehi, UT from 7:00 - 8:30 p.m. Funeral service will be held Wednesday, October 28th, at 11 a.m. at Wing Mortuary. John will be interred at the Lehi Cemetery.
