Joyce Ann
Bertasso
Mar 9, 1947 — Nov 24, 2025
Our beautiful, sweet, kind, and caring wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother Joyce Ann Bertasso, age 78, of Highland, Utah, passed away peacefully at home on November 24, 2025, surrounded by her loving family.
Born on March 9, 1947, in Springfield, Massachusetts, she was the oldest of 9 children, and beloved daughter of Stuart and Elaine Patnode. She married Robert Bertasso on March 1, 1996, and together they built a life filled with love, laughter, devotion, and sharing.
She was a cherished wife, a devoted mother to Kimberly Mayhugh, Joseph Davis, and Rebecca Davis, a proud grandmother to Donnie Snow, Matthew Snow, Jacob Mayhugh, Luke Davis, Alexander Davis, Alivia Davis, and great-grandmother to Michael Snow. Her family was her greatest joy, and she dedicated her life to nurturing, guiding, celebrating, and loving them.
Joyce was a joy to her family as well as to those outside of her family. Joyce was known for always meeting new people and making new friends. Joyce was always able to see when someone was in need and would give whatever she had to help them at their special times. Her personal likes were crafts, gardening, making our house a home, and was committed to the gospel of Jesus Christ. She had a warm smile, loved with all her heart, sacrificed her time, and touched the lives of many with her kindness, generosity, compassion, and sincere caring.
She is survived by her husband Robert Bertasso, daughter Kimberly (Keith) Mayhugh, and son Joseph Davis. Her brothers, Bruce, Jeffrey, Steven, Daniel and sisters Cindy and Annette. Joyce was preceded in death by her parents, Stuart and Elaine Patnode, her late husband, Donald Davis, her loving daughter Rebecca Davis, her sister Deborah Patnode and brother Stuart Patnode
Funeral service will be held on December 4, 2025, at 11:00 AM at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints on the corner of 9600 N 6000 W in Highland Utah. Friends and loved ones are invited to attend and celebrate her giving life.
