Like the beautiful artist that she was, Joyce signed the painting of her life and moved on to her next work of art on July 11, 2025.

Born May 7, 1935, Joyce was welcomed into this world by parents Evan Leroy and Lenore Jones College and siblings Evan, Opal, Letha, and Helen.

On January 16,1954 Joyce married Denis Davis. Their family grew by two when children Cozette and Cole were added to the picture. The bond of their family was sealed together for eternity in the Mount Timpanogos temple on December 10, 1999.

Her family was her most important priority. She loved them with all her heart and while her body may have been failing, she loved, cared for them, and remembered each of them by name right to the end. Joyce had a warm and welcoming personality, and she had a way of making you feel like you were the most important person to her.  Her heart was so big that many people were invited into her home and then left feeling like they were family, too.

For many, many years of her life she was passionate about her artwork. Pencil, chalk, pastel, oil or acrylic paint, she appreciated and excelled in various mediums. She took classes, taught classes, and patiently shared her love, skill and talent with many loved ones and eager learners. Examples of her artwork can be found in the homes of numerous family members and friends.

In addition to her artwork, Joyce taught many Webelos packs, cub scout dens, 4-H groups, and held various callings in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.  She had a strong testimony, a deep love of the gospel, and a personal relationship with her Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ.

Many family members greeted her as she returned Home, including her husband Denis, her parents, her brother Evan, and sisters Opal and Letha, who have all gone on before her.

Those here missing her kind and loving presence are her sister Helen Lindstrom, her children Cozette (Scott) Deveraux, and Cole (Patti) Davis, grandchildren Caleb and Aaron Deveraux, and Tia and Kiley Davis along with many dear nieces, nephews and friends. Each treasured one added beautiful color and dimension to her life painting.

Funeral services will be held Friday, July 18, 2025, at 11:00 am in the Wing Mortuary chapel located at 118 East Main Street, Lehi, UT.  There will be a visitation for family and friends on the same date and at the same location one hour prior to the service.

Interment will be at the Lehi City Cemetery, 1100 North 400 East, Lehi, UT.
