Kacey Michael Johnson, 33, of West Jordan, Utah, passed away on October 28, 2026.

Kacey was blessed with two beautiful families - his biological family and his Chrysalis family, both of whom loved and cared for him deeply. He was a cherished member of a loving, faith-filled home. Kacey found great joy in the Special Olympics, where he competed with heart, in track and field, basketball, bowling and bocce ball. His enthusiasm, determination, and sportsmanship left a lasting impression on everyone around him.

He was also a devoted sports fan. Kacey loved professional football and took special joy in cheering on the Denver Broncos. Attending a home game for the Utah Jazz brought him another level of excitement. Kacey also had a true love for good food. Snacks and candy especially made him light up with happiness.

Above all, Kacey held his family and friends close to his heart. When he loved, he did so fully - you could feel it, see it, and witness it in everything he did.

Kacey will be remembered by all who knew him as a loving young man who left a positive impression on everyone he encountered. Though we know an angel has returned to heaven, we will miss him every day.

He is survived by his mother, Lora Eddington; his father, Gary Michael Johnson; his brothers Colby Johnson, Avery Johnson and his wife Jen, and Mitchell Johnson and his wife Brooke; as well as five beautiful nieces and nephews.

Family and close friends are invited to gather at the Lehi City Cemetery, 1100 North 400 East, Lehi, Utah, on Thursday, November 5, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. for a family prayer and grave dedication. A Celebration of Life will be held at approximately 2:30 p.m. at the Legacy Farms First Ward Chapel, 233 E School House Rd, Saratoga Springs, Utah.
